Construction and Description:
The construction method of fiber-added asphalt concrete is basically the same as that of traditional asphalt concrete.
Precautions for selecting fiber-added asphalt concrete mixing equipment:
1. Due to the addition of fibers, it is necessary to prolong the dry mixing and wet mixing time so that the fibers can be evenly coated with mineral materials. Due to the slight decrease in the production capacity of the mixing equipment, the construction period will be extended. Therefore, the mixing capacity of the mixing equipment must be considered when planning the construction.
2. For the traditional continuous mixing equipment, it is necessary to add special fiber adding equipment, and because the fiber accounts for a small proportion of the mixture, the accuracy of the equipment will be an important aspect affecting the mixing quality. The uneven addition of fibers will also cause the oil consumption of the mixture to be too large or too small, which will affect the project quality.
Requirements for mixing asphalt concrete with polyester fiber:
1. Determine the mixing ratio of each hot silo: Calculate the quality of each mixing material, and calculate the fiber quality to be put in each mixing material according to the polyester fiber consumption determined by the target mixing ratio, so as to ensure the accuracy of the calculation;
2. Determine the appropriate mixing time: For ordinary asphalt mixture, the mixing time of each plate of batch mixing equipment is 30-60 seconds. After adding polyester fiber, the mixing time will be extended by 10-15 seconds. The recommended mixing time is 25-30 seconds for wet mixing, and 30 seconds for wet mixing to make the mixture evenly mixed. The polyester fiber and asphalt mixture are well coated.
3. Determine the appropriate mixing and delivery temperature: the heating temperature of asphalt should be 130-160℃, and the heating should not exceed 6 hours, and the heating should be used up on the same day, and it is not suitable to be heated many times to avoid aging. The sand heating temperature is 140-170℃, and the mineral powder is not heated. The ex-factory temperature of asphalt mixture should be 130-160℃. When using modified asphalt, it should be 10-15℃ higher than the upper limit of the above temperature.
